"Lola Dice is a striking Rock'n'roll-Punk band with a funky garage and Hard-Core touch. (…) And rock, when played with such a raw and tough determination is definitely healthy medicine. Try some!"

Lola Dice recorded their first album in 2002 and played some concerts in France and Spain. The style was different, more Funk oriented but already very rock. Then Josue went to Barcelona for 2 years.

Now they're back, along with a powerful drummer and a talented singer they have miraculously found. All of them full of energy and the will to rock it from the bones!!

Jean Verdu, bass.

Jean went to the I.M.F.P. music school in Nimes in 1985 and played with Visiteurs in 86.

He met Josue in Barcelona in 91 when they both played with Dutch Rock singer Hermann Brood during that summer in Cadaques, Spain. They started the Rock'n'roll Elephant that same year and toured Spain, France and Holland till 93.

Jean made an album with his own music in 96 -a project involving Rock, Jazz and Hip-Hop- and toured with other bands.

In 2000 he put together a Jazz project called Mandala, with lots of African and Spanish influences in it, -it is still going on.

Jean joined Josue again in 2002 to work on Lola Dice, -after some serious talk about if it’s appropriate or not to rehearse with sleepers on!

Stephane Pasquier, drums and jokes

Stephan has played drums with several Metal and Hard-Rock bands. Josue is convinced to have –cause of the lonesome village he lives in…- miraculously found the powerful and frank drummer the band needed to achieve the sound they're looking for. This young and astonishing drummer is really fond of dogs and other things we are afraid to mention…

Dom Tassin, lead vocals and other instruments

Dom studied in a conservatoire for 2 years somewhere in France, -but he says that singing a whole Queen’s repertoire with a teenage band when you are a kid is kind of better-. He plays lots of instruments and has been performing all sorts of music ever since 1991. This young and talented musician is sure to wear nice shirts even if you don’t see them.

Josue Febles, guitar, vocals.

He started playing and composing when he was 11.

Between 1985 and 89 he went to the Aula de Musica Moderna i Jazz de Barcelona, played straight Jazz and Jazz Rock and worked as an arranger and co-producer at Oreb Recording Studio in Barcelona.

In 1990 he switched to Blues and Rock. He opened up for Ten Years After in 91, played with Hermann Brood and other Rock and Blues bands and hit the road with the Rock'n'roll Elephant till he settled down for a while in France between 93 and 99.

He recorded his first album and toured with Susu band -some kind of trip on different music styles and performing arts- from 96 to 99.

He then went to San Francisco and performed solo and acoustic, opening up for Omar Sosa and playing gigs in small places while investigating other musical areas.

In 2000 he worked with Sam Louwyck and other dancers making the music for a contemporary dance piece called 'October 13th.' which they toured till 2002. He started Lola Dice at the end of the tour. He is still trying to keep his toes from arguing with each other.
